Ha Tinh Fostering Trade Promotion Activities

Market instabilities have influenced local production and trading activities. Thus, Ha Tinh industry and trade department has provided consultancy for the province, supported enterprises to tackle difficulties, sped up investment progress and accessed governmental and provincial preferential policies through effective implementation of production and export promotional activities under Decision 09/2011/QD-UBND; export proposal from 2007-2010, with vision to 2020; provincial export proposal from 2011-2015 approved by Provincial People Committee at Decision 06/QD/UBND dated January 29^th 2008.

 

Besides, the sector has maintained good connection with enterprises, conducted surveys and evaluation of potential markets, coordinated with businesses to seek markets for local products such as: rubber, bamboo and rattan products. It has organised field trips for enterprises to learn about markets in Northern provinces so that they can build key markets in Ha Tinh. Besides, it has held conferences to provide businesses and local officials with insight into international economic integration 6 years after Vietnam joined the WTO.

 

Given such solutions, the sector has contributed to local economic growth with an obvious shift in industrial structuring. Industrial production value has annually increased by 16.6 percent and the proportion of service sector has also significantly increased. In addition, the province has comprehensively planned industrial zones and complexes.

 

Mr Tran Nhat Tan, Director of Ha Tinh Industry and Trade Department said that in the coming time, Ha Tinh industry and trade would continue to promote its leading role in economic development, quickly handle public administrative procedures to create favourable conditions for enterprises, investors from the stage of registration to that of putting projects into production and operation.
