Central Province of Ha Tinh Promises CG Meeting Success

The central province of Ha Tinh will ramp up effort to make the 2011 Mid-term consultative group (CG) meeting a success. 

 

Ha Tinh province was selected to host the 2011 mid-term CG meeting, scheduled on June 8-9.

 

The locality already reached agreements with the Ministry of Planning and Investment and the World Bank on the organization of ODA field trips for representatives of 18 international organizations, said Mr. Tran Minh Ky, Permanent Deputy Chairman of Ha Tinh provincial People’s Committee.

 

The province will focus on environment protection, urban decoration, and cultural behaviors to impress national and international guests.

 

On the occasion, it will introduce to the guests local products, including minerals, forestry and agricultural products. 

 

The CG meeting will discuss the major contents, including (1) re-setting up and strengthening the macro economy, (2) reviewing the enforcement of Government Resolution 11, regarding finance-money, transparency in fiscal activities and budget, public investment and state-run enterprises, (3) the International Monetary Fund's report,  and (4) a report by the Business Forum.
