Binh Phuoc real estate market is entering a more stable and sustainable development phase
Our reporter has an exclusive interview with Mr. Tran Quoc Viet, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cat Tuong Group, to learn about the potential and opportunities of the province's real estate market in the coming time.
As a professional property developer in the southern market, how has Cat Tuong Group realized the potential and investment opportunities in Binh Phuoc?
As one of leading real estate investors and developers in Binh Phuoc, we appreciate the development potential of this province as well as see many opportunities there.
Binh Phuoc province, the largest by area in the Southeast, has an important strategic position, located in the southern key economic region. These are important advantages for the province to easily develop the industry.
Opportunities are growing when the province has actively invested in building transport systems, including Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Expressway, Dak Nong - Chon Thanh Expressway, and a western route to National Highway 13 leading to Chon Thanh - Hoa Lu International Border Gate.
Moreover, the provincial government also launched attractive investment attraction policies and tried to improve the investment environment. This is the foundation for creating a driving force to foster economic growth and bring the local property market into a new development stage.
Lying in the heart of Dong Xoai City, Cat Tuong Phu Hung Project has given a facelift to the urban appearance and elevated the local economy. Could you share some information about Cat Tuong Phu Hung Project?
Cat Tuong Phu Hung is a market-leading property project in Binh Phuoc province that we are very much concerned about. This complex - the first all-in-one closed multiutility landscape project in Binh Phuoc and a rare project with 18 utilities – has completed its infrastructure, with 80% of utilities in service, becoming a destination for local people and tourists. Notable items include The Destin Architectural Heritage World Park, The Angel Cinema World Park and Phu Thien Kim Night Market.
In the coming time, we will continue to build Lucky Mall to meet the demand for shopping, entertainment, conferencing, healthcare and working offices.
With the aforementioned potential and the initial success of Cat Tuong Phu Hung Project, what plans does Cat Tuong Group have for the near future?
The success of Cat Tuong Phu Hung Project also provides a solid stepping stone for upcoming projects. Besides Dong Xoai City, we are carrying out Japanese-styled Cat Tuong Park House in Chon Thanh Town with a diversity of utilities such as clubhouses, preschools, parks and swimming pools. Cat Tuong Park House is also honored to be the first residential area in Binh Phuoc to be certified EDGE Green Building. In June 2023, construction was officially started on Taiyou Kindergarten, which was expected to be completed by the end of this year.

In addition to urgently completing world-class facilities in our ongoing urban areas, we will deploy another real estate project in Binh Long town, Binh Phuoc province in the fourth quarter of this year.
With your experience in investment and business, how do you think about the support of the government of Binh Phuoc province?
In Binh Phuoc, the government has actively removed difficulties for the real estate market such as promoting construction, upgrading transport infrastructure, and speeding up public investment disbursement. The government and relevant bodies are always willing to listen to businesses' opinions to form an open, transparent and equal investment and business environment and create fair access to resources. This has helped the real estate market to make a rebound and attract investors. For example, Cat Tuong Phu Hung and Cat Tuong Park House of Cat Tuong Group in Binh Phuoc are keenly interested by investors.
We hope that, in the coming time, the government will continue to implement proposed solutions consistently and effectively; strengthen business dialogues; accompany, support and facilitate local businesses to develop strongly.
