Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh had just signed and issued Decision No. 4151/QD-UBND recognizing 8 communes in Soc Son and Thach Districts to meet new-style rural standards (phase 3) in 2023.

Accordingly, 8 communes in Soc Son and Thach That districts were recognized for meeting the new style rural standards (phase 3) in 2023 in various fields.

- Mai Dinh commune, Soc Son district, meets the model new rural standards in health and culture.

- Phu Cuong commune, Soc Son district, meets the model of new rural standards in production and culture.

- Phu Minh commune, Soc Son district, meets the model new rural standards in health and culture.

- Trung Gia commune, Soc Son district, meets the model new rural standards in Education and Training, production, and health.

The communes that meet the standards of a model new rural area are awarded a Certificate of Recognition for the title of a model new rural area in 2023 and a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the City People's Committee. The People's Committees of districts and communes are responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of the achieved areas and continuing to build a model new rural area in the remaining areas towards building a comprehensive model new rural area according to regulations.

According to the Office of Coordination of the Hanoi New Rural Development Program, the City always identifies new rural development as a journey with a starting point but no endpoint. Therefore, even though localities have met the conditions for recognition of advanced and model new rural standards, local authorities must still closely monitor, mobilize resources and support from the people to continue to improve the criteria for advanced new rural areas, especially in terms of environment, production, rural infrastructure, clean water, school facilities, etc.
