Hanoi Lotus Festival aims to promote and honor the beauty and cultural values ​​of Hanoi, highlighting the unique value of the lotus tea marinade profession and the unique characteristics of lotus culture in the lives of people. Hanoi people in particular and Vietnamese people in general.

This is a practical activity to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Capital's Liberation Day (October 10.10.1954, 10.10.2024 - October XNUMX, XNUMX) and other major holidays of the country.

Hanoi, today, lotus plants are grown in many suburban districts of Hanoi associated with eco-tourism and as high-quality raw materials for the textile industry, flavor, and starch processing. Under human creativity, lotus products were present at the event such as lotus flowers, lotus silk, lotus tea, lotus sticky rice, lotus sausage... Along with the outstanding and unique appearance of lotus flowers filling the festival space, the event also introduced more than 100 standard booths displaying OCOP products, which are specialties of the Northern regions with many products. rich diversity, promising to be an interesting shopping destination for tourists.

Artist Kim Duc shared that she believes and wishes to make a small contribution and share the joy with lotus lovers when Hanoi organizes this unique festival for the first time.
