As part of the official friendship visit to South Korea, the delegation of Vinh Phuc province, led by Mr. Le Duy Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, visited Signetics Corporation, a member of Young Poong Group. The delegation was welcomed and hosted by Mr. Chang Se-Jun, Vice Chairman of Young Poong Group.
The delegation learned the corporation’s business information and toured its factories. Signetics is South Korea’s first semiconductor test and assembly specialty company since 1966, with outstanding products such as Flip-Chip, thermally enhanced BGA (ball grid array), FBGA (fine-pitch ball grid array), MCM (multi-chip module) and thermal-electrically superior reliable semiconductor package according to product performance and requirements. The semiconductor industry is also one of the development priorities of Vinh Phuc province in the near future.
Chairman Le Duy Thanh expressed his appreciation for the firm’s development and achievements in South Korea and globally and said that Vinh Phuc is preparing resources to attract large, strategic semiconductor investors. He also briefly introduced the investment environment and incentive policies of Vinh Phuc province and expressed his hope that Signetics Company would consider investing in Vinh Phuc and help the province attract other South Korean investors.
