Vinh Long is reforming its growth model towards intensive development. The province has supported enterprises to adopt digital transformation by applying digital technology for higher productivity, competitiveness and new values.
Supporting the province's policy, the Vinh Long Young Entrepreneurs Association has stepped up communications to raise awareness, and consulted and carried out training courses on digital transformation for member enterprises. As a result, it has helped speed up entrepreneurship and innovation.
Its workshops like “mindset and tools for corporate governance in Industry 4.0 era” and “Product trends and digital marketing in Industry 4.0” have attracted a large number of participants.
Furthermore, the association cooperated with VNPT Vinh Long Branch to build a tourism website and a mobile application, signed contracts with postal and telecom service providers like Viettel and VNPT Post to speed up digital transformation. Additionally, its member companies are pioneers in developing e-commerce websites, applying digital signatures and joining e-commerce trading platforms.
Remarking on Vinh Long's investment environment, Nguyen Tuong Nam, Chairman of the Vinh Long Young Entrepreneurs Association, said that the local business investment environment is increasingly open and favorable for businesses. Administrative procedures have been markedly improved and many practical policies have been implemented. In the coming time, the province needs to develop human resources, especially high-quality human resources, to meet digital transformation requirements and enhance business performance and sustainable development.
Besides, the province needs to launch he District and Department Competitiveness Index (DDCI), he added. While assessing the capacity and performance of departments and districts, DDCI also provides necessary data for direction and administration of the provincial government.
With the goal of “Creating values - supporting development", the association will further assist its members to promote their youth and innovation in digital transformation and international integration. Then, it will facilitate sustainable development of the province and the country as a whole,” Nam affirmed.
