Hanoi Social Insurance has coordinated with the Department of Health and other facilities. Health insurance medical examination and treatment in the City area shall make payment and advance payments for health insurance medical examination and treatment according to regulations; coordinate to promptly resolve problems in implementing health insurance policies, ensuring that when dengue patients come to medical facilities, they must be received, treated and enjoy the benefits of health insurance patients promptly. In addition to patients participating in health insurance in Hanoi, there were 151,102 medical examinations with health insurance medical expenses of 132,973,347,053 VND, there were also out-of-province patients transferred to medical facilities in Hanoi with 15,397 medical examinations, health insurance medical examination costs of 19,683,561,818 VND.
Accordingly, health insurance participants are paid by the health insurance fund an unlimited amount of medical treatment according to the scope and level of benefits. Many dengue fever patients are paid up to hundreds of millions of dong. By the end of November 2023, in Hanoi city, the number of people participating in health insurance: 7,906,615 people, an increase of 237,219 people compared to the same period in 2022; an increase of 189,506 people compared to December 31, 2022, the health insurance coverage rate reaches 93.45% of the population.
