Dak Nong Department of Natural Resources and Environment is the advisory body for the province on state management of natural resources and environment. With a high sense of responsibility and creativity, the Department has managed to accomplish all assigned tasks, actively contributing to improving the investment and business environment and raising the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI).

Over the past time, administrative procedure reform has been considered a central and cross-cutting concern that has been strongly directed by the provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment, because this is one of the factors that have a great impact on the investment and business environment and satisfaction of people and businesses.
Accordingly, under the firm direction of the province, the Director of the Department has regularly reviewed, adjusted, supplemented, and reduced and abolished inappropriate administrative procedures, simplified administrative procedures, and created favorable conditions for businesses and people.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hiep, Director of Dak Nong Provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment, said that currently, with the receipt of dossiers from the Provincial Public Administration Center, the dossiers and administrative procedures under the Department in charge are no longer delayed. Many dossiers are even processed before their deadlines. This reform is highly appreciated by the business community. Along with that, the Department has coordinated to apply level 3 and level 4 online public services as directed by the provincial authorities.
In addition, the Department also actively researches, proposes and implements solutions to improve and enhance the component indexes of PCI under the charge of the Department, and at the same time, actively enhances other indicators related to the field of natural resources and environment. The Natural Resources and Environment Department also coordinates with other departments, branches and localities to remove and solve difficulties for businesses, contributing to improving the investment and business environment of the province.
“The Department of Natural Resources and Environment has been and will continue to direct its units to focus on speeding up the implementation of key tasks assigned by the Provincial People's Committee and the Department's plans and tasks to ensure progress and quality; and urgently review the delayed tasks and problems to report and propose measures to deal with them. In particular, it will continue to pay attention to and focus on solving difficulties and problems related to land allocation and land recovery after inspection, compensation for site clearance, auction of land use rights, and clean land creation to call for investment," said Mr. Nguyen Van Hiep.
