Ben Tre: Developing infrastructure for Giao Long IP and An Hiep IC

Ben Tre Province Industrial Zones Authority announced that the province will add VND59 billion (US$3.7 million) to developing infrastructure systems for Giao Long Industrial Park and An Hiep Industrial Complex, in Chau Thanh District in 2007.

Of the sum, VND40 billion (US$2.5 million) will be spent on Giao Long IP and VND19 billion on An Hiep IC, mainly for wastewater treatment and inside roads. To date, Giao Long IP has finished landfill and levelling, while An Hiep IC has fulfilled levelling 16.5ha out of 65ha. Fifteen investors, including four foreigners, registered for investment in the two industrial zones. Twelve have invested US$28 million and VND294 billion in Giao Long IP. Four of them have begun project execution.
