Dong Thap to Invest VND1,786 Billion for Tourism Development

Dong Thap province will spend about VND1,786 billion upgrading infrastructure of tourist sites from now to 2015 in a bid to create new competitive unique tourism products and to turn tourism into a key economic sector.
 
The province will invest in Tram Chim National Park, Xeo Quyt relic site, Gao Giong ecological resort, Go Thap archaeological site, Nguyen Sinh Sac relic site, Huynh Thuy Le ancient residence, and Sa Dec flower and bonsai village. It is now building new tourist sites like Lap Vo wet rice culture site, Tien riverside resort, and An Hoa islet ecotourism site. Dong Thap hopes to welcome 2.1 million tourists and make revenue of VND360 billion from tourism in 2015.
