PM Okays Dong Thap Border Economic Zone

The Prime Minister has issued Decision 1580/QD-TTg approving the master plan for Dong Thap Border Gate Economic Zone towards 2030. Accordingly, this economic zone will be developed into a development engine for Dong Thap province.

The decision also anticipates that the population of Dong Thap Border Gate Economic Zone will reach 200,000 by 2020 and 250,000 by 2030. Land demand for urban construction will approximate 1,500 ha in 2020 and 2,400 ha in 2030.
