Japan helps build two schools in Lai Chau Province by donating over 166,000 USD to northern mountainous Lai Chau province. A contract for the non-refundable aid was signed in Lai Chau on October 28.
With the aid, two two-storey buildings with six classrooms each will be constructed in Phong Tho district’s La Nhi Thang and Tam Duong district’s Guang Ma commune, helping improve learning conditions for 230 local pupils.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Japanese Ambassador Mitsuo Sakaba said he hoped the aid will also help deepen the friendship and mutual understandings between the two countries.
