Xuan Cuong Company, established in 2006, is one of leading investors, operators and traders of warehousing and logistics services in Lang Son province. The company provides a wide range of services at centralized merchandise checkpoints in customs areas for cross-border importers and exporters. Its notable services include vehicle parking services, merchandise warehousing services, customs clearance services, business space leasing, postal and express delivery customs clearance services, and passenger terminal services at Huu Nghi International Border Gate.

Currently, the company's passenger and cargo transshipment station project of international standards is equipped with synchronous, spacious and modern facilities like transaction offices, operating building, accommodation building, warehouses, loading areas, tram and taxi stations.

In 2023, the company continued to invest in facilities and equipment at the cargo terminal area to reduce customs clearance time, including 11 cranes, 19 forklifts, two container picking machines, two rows of eight 30-ton cranes, five weighing stations and 100 trucks. Currently, its response capacity is 850 - 900 import vehicles a day and 300 - 350 export vehicles a day. In addition, it can accommodate 2,300 vehicles parked and rotated per day.

Besides, defining digital transformation as an important step to improve competitiveness and achieve the mission of becoming a digital firm by 2025, Xuan Cuong has pioneered investing strongly in digital transformation. The company has completed three first important stages: Digital registration, digital coordination and digital payment. At the same time, it has digitized all internal administration activities to optimize processes, improve accuracy and work speed, increase work performance by 150%, and enhance transparency in administration towards building a smart border gate model.

Regarding digital registration, 100% of customers can register online for all core services on the Xuan Cuong application or website. With respect to digital coordination, all services are operated and coordinated on digital applications. For digital payment, customers pay online for services without going directly to transaction offices through QR code-enabled payment methods and a prepaid account. Thus, the company has helped eliminate “overcrowding” at transaction offices, simplified processes and minimized time and cost.

The manned loading and unloading division successfully tested conveyor belts, helping save manpower and speed up service time, helping free up labor, improve work performance and save 30% of personnel compared to before testing.

In particular, in November 2023, Xuan Cuong signed a cooperation agreement with U&I Logistics Joint Stock Company (Binh Duong province). The company expected the cooperation to create a logistics ecosystem that solves real “bottlenecks”, promotes and enhances the export value of Vietnamese agricultural products.

Located in Lang Son, a province with special advantages in border economic development, from the early days of establishment, Xuan Cuong Company was determined to become Vietnam's top logistics firm, make the Dong Dang - Lang Son Key Border Economic Zone the largest logistics/import-export/trading center in the region.

On that basis, the company wished to further expand the warehousing area to meet the increasing demand for trade and logistics. Xuan Cuong proposed the Lang Son Provincial People’s Committee to expand an additional 120 hectares (bringing the total project area to 146 hectares and the total investment fund to about VND4,500 billion VND. The project will apply digital transformation, modern science and technology to reduce manpower, increase labor productivity, employ about 2,000 workers, upload and download goods for 1.8-2.0 million vehicles a year, accommodate 4,000-5,000 trucks of all types at the same time, and have a customs clearance capacity of 20 million tons a year).

Xuan Cuong seeks more attention and support from provincial and local authorities to speed up site clearance to bring the project into operation to support breakthrough development of Lang Son border gate economy in particular and Vietnam's economy in general. Besides, the company hopes for support and coordination of local authorities and businesses in investing in smart border gate connections and optimizing the digital border gate system as well the system synchronization of related forces to minimize the time of carrying out administrative procedures for importers and exporters.

In addition to strong business performance, Xuan Cuong also takes the lead in exercising social responsibility and security. Currently, the company ensures regular, stable employment for nearly 700 workers with an average monthly income of nearly VND15 million, among the highest in the province and higher than the country’s average. The company always fully applies all employee policies, from social insurance and health insurance to other social welfare regimes.

Moreover, Xuan Cuong also actively joins hands with the province to build new rural areas and supports various funds and social security programs. The company has donated VND17.9 billion for social security programs in the province since 2020. In 2022, Xuan Cuong was awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for outstanding achievements in the emulation movement “Lang Son and the country join together to build new rural areas”.
