Da Nang City is making efforts to synchronously carry out key tasks and solutions for economic recovery and development by effectively executing Resolution 43-NQ/TW of the Politburo on Da Nang City construction and development to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
Accordingly, the city will focus on completing the Da Nang City Planning for 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050; accelerate local planning to effectively implement Decision 359/QD-TTg on revisions to Da Nang City Master Plan to 2030, with a vision to 2045; and finish and hand over the Revised Plan for Da Nang International Airport in 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.
It will effectively implement Plan 185/KH-UBND dated October 26, 2021 of the City People's Committee on socioeconomic recovery and development in the context of safe, flexible adaptation to and effective control of the COVID-19 epidemic; review and assess results of business support policies; and facilitate businesses and employees to access policies on loan support, land support, tax and labor, among other things.
The city will implement the plan to restore Da Nang tourism under the motto “Active - adaptive - flexible to effectively restore tourism and ensure safety for tourists, tourism workers and the community”.
It will continue to effectively carry out Resolution 05/NQ-TU dated June 17, 2021 and Da Nang Digital Transformation Project to 2025, with a vision to 2030, together with the project to build smart cities, develop digital government, digital economy and digital society, and create the foundation for developing new industries and fields; complete and operate the second Da Nang Software Park in the third quarter of 2021; speed up investment attraction for an innovation space in Hoa Xuan; and support building information technology parks invested by enterprises (like Da Nang Bay Information Technology Park of VNPT Group and High-tech Software Building of Viettel Group).
Da Nang will continue to draw more investors, create fundamental changes in the quality of industry growth towards green and sustainable growth, with priority given to sectoral development: high-tech, electronics, automobile manufacturing and assembly, mechanical engineering, supporting industries, priority industries, industries and industrial products of high added value and competitiveness linked to production networks and value chains.
It will concentrate on restructuring agricultural production towards modernity and efficiency and create key, typical organic agricultural products of added value and food safety.
The city will step up investment attraction promotion for the Da Nang High-Tech Park and the Da Nang Information Technology Park; accelerate infrastructure construction investment for newly approved industrial zones like Cam Le Industrial Complex (phase 1) and Nhon Hoa Industrial Complex; and complete making projects to appeal and woo large investors to invest in new industrial parks like Hoa Cam - Phase 2, Hoa Nhon, Hoa Ninh and Da Nang Hi-tech Supporting Industrial Park.
Da Nang will develop enterprises, further enhance the business and investment environment, and increase the appeal of domestic and foreign investment; actively carry out suitable investment attraction activities amid the COVID-19 epidemic outbreak by making the most of information technology; and timely remove difficulties and obstacles to facilitate businesses to invest in the city.
In addition, Da Nang will cooperate with central agencies to speed up implementation of important national, regional and inter-regional projects such as Lien Chieu Port, Da Nang University Village, La Son - Tuy Loan Expressway (Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan section); continue to coordinate in proposing central agencies to prioritize investment, upgrade and expand 14G and 14D national highways to foster socioeconomic development on the East-West Economic Corridor.
