With its determination and effort in the past two decades, Plastic Chemical Group Joint Stock Company (Plaschem Group) has become an industry-leading conglomerate in Vietnam with 20 member companies and six factories with huge annual revenue that steadily grows 15-20% a year; employed 1,500 employees and donated over VND50 billion a year to social activities. On its development journey, the investment in Expanded Dong Van I Industrial Park is of great significance because this project realized its desire to create a sustainable business and manufacturing environment and bring best values to the community.

Plaschem Group, established in 1999, started with plastic tarpaulin manufacturing. In 2001, Plaschem Group built a factory in Gia Lam district (Hanoi) and invested in the first plastic pelletizing production line powered by technology imported from Starlinger (Austria). The factory, which officially went into operation in July 2002, now has five PE tarpaulin production lines with a total monthly output of 1,600 tons. In November 2012, Plaschem Group put into operation Jumbo Tu Phuong packaging production factory in Gia Lam district. Jumbo packaging is used to contain, store and transport products and materials with a payload from 500kg to 3,000kg, used to pack rice, flour, coffee, pepper, animal feed, minerals, cement and other products. In 2013, AD* Star Tu Phuong packaging manufacturing factory, built on 2ha in Tan An City, Long An province, started operating and supplying 156 million bags a year to the market. AD Star square-bottom packages have been supplied to many partners and customers in domestic and international cement industries. In January 2020, Plaschem Group invested VND1,000 billion to build first-phase Tu Phuong BOPP film factory on a 4-ha campus in Tu Phuong Industrial Cluster, Tan An City, Long An province, and put it into operation in March 2021 with an output of 50,800 tons of products a year. To date, Plaschem  Group has affirmed its brand and prestige in the plastic industry, not only in Vietnam but also in many foreign markets.

After making its mark in the plastic industry, Plaschem Group has diversified development investment categories and also made a strong mark of success in hotel and resort sectors. Despite being established in a short time, a chain of five luxury resorts in Hanoi, Lao Cai and Thua Thien Hue has made "Silk Path" a famous brand of Vietnam's hospitality industry.

Plaschem Group has also affirmed itself as one of leading conglomerates in Vietnam with commercial and service urban property projects such as Greenpark Vinh Hung (Hoang Mai district, Hanoi) and especially The Imperial Valley Golf & Country Club (Dong Trieu town, Quang Ninh province) that was built on 127.5ha at an investment cost of over VND1,200 billion.

With more than a decade of industrial estate investment, Plaschem group is currently joining ventures with other partners or directly investing in its own projects. Specifically, directly invested in 44-ha Tu Phuong Industrial Complex (Long An province) that came into operation in 2021 (60% of the rentable area leased), invested in 150-ha Expanded Dong Van I Industrial Park (Ha Nam province) and jointly invested 2,428 billion in 212-ha Binh Dong Industrial Park (Tien Giang province).

The currently particular highlight is Expanded Dong Van I Industrial Park, which is designed to be deployed in two phases. Phase I - Zone A, approved by the Prime Minister in Decision 411/QD-TTg dated May 22, 2021, needs VND1,103 billion for investment and has a planned area of 100ha. With outstanding geo-economic advantages, the well-prepared investment in Expanded Dong Van I Industrial Park is expected to be the first step for a closed, green, smart new generation industrial ecosystem in Ha Nam province. In addition to enjoying general mechanisms and policies of the Government and Ha Nam province and having access to available land and synchronous and modern technical infrastructure, tenants in Dong Van I Industrial Park are actively supported by the infrastructure investor - Plaschem group that is trying to create a sustainable business and production environment and bring best values to the community.
