Covering over 2,000 ha, AURORA Textile Industrial Park (Aurora IP) is designed to become a leading manufacturing, trading and service center for the garment, textile and fashion industry in northern Vietnam. With favorable location, complete infrastructure and preferential mechanism, Aurora IP is expected to be an ideal destination for investors.

Well-positioned

Located in Rang Dong town, Nghia Hung district, Nam Dinh province, inside the nearly 14,000-ha proposed Ninh Co Economic Zone, Aurora IP has favorable access to major seaports and airports such as Hai Thinh Port (10 km), Hai Phong Port (140 km), Cai Lan Port (200 km), Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi City (150 km), Cat Bi Airport in Hai Phong City (145 km). In addition, Aurora IP has an outstanding advantage to develop transport and logistics systems as it lies between the estuaries of the Ninh Co River and Day River, which flow into the Tonkin Gulf.

Besides, Nam Dinh is urgently completing Thinh Long Bridge and a road linking the bridge with Aurora IP and speeding up various macro projects scheduled to be completed in 2021, including an expressway linking Thinh Long Bridge to the Cao Bo Intersection (Ninh Binh province); a coastal highway (CT.09) connecting Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Hai Phong and Quang Ninh; a coastal economic road to support investment in Aurora IP and facilitate the development of Rang Dong City, the second city of Nam Dinh province.

Priority for investment into textile and garment sector, especially textile - dyeing

To strengthen and sustain the development of Vietnam's textile and garment industry and contribute to growing local and national economy, Aurora IP aims to attract investors to produce one billion square meters of fabric in Phase 1 (covering 519.6 ha) and increase the fabric output to 1.5 billion square meters in Phase 2 (covering 850 ha) and form a modern trade, textile - fashion service urban area in Phase 3 (covering 675 ha).

To realize this goal, in Phase 1, Aurora IP focuses on attracting secondary investors, large foreign companies from other countries around the world, with priority given to high-tech textile and dyeing, while encouraging domestic-foreign joint ventures based on legal advantages and infrastructure completely suitable for the textile and dyeing field.

Aurora IP is planned to have a water supply system that taps surface water from the Day River with a daily capacity of 170,000 cubic meters a day and a wastewater treatment plant with a daily capacity of 110,000 cubic meters. This is among the largest water supply and wastewater treatment facilities in Vietnam today, specifically designed for the textile-dyeing industry, to ensure the construction, manufacturing and operation of tenants in the industrial park.

Preferential mechanism

In addition to advantages of a convenient location and  a good infrastructure system, tenants at Aurora IP are entitled to appealing incentive policies on corporate income tax, import tax, value added tax, especially specific incentive policies for producers of supporting industrial products under the Government's Decree 111/2015/ND-CP dated November 3, 2015 on developing supporting industries and the Prime Minister’s Decision 68/QD-TTg, dated January 18, 2017, that approved the supporting industry development program from 2016 to 2025.

In addition, Aurora IP is committed to providing free support for procedures to obtain investment registration certificates and business registration certificates for tenants and work closely with them during the development of their projects at Aurora IP through a single-window service system.

Green - clean - sustainable industrial park

Situated in the Red River Delta recognized by UNESCO as a world biosphere reserve, Aurora IP is oriented to be a green - clean - sustainable industrial park and a well-balanced industrial ecological community.

Consistent with this orientation, Aurora IP has built a 17-km canal system together with green fences surrounding the industrial park instead of concrete walls like most other industrial parks. At the same time, Aurora IP also has built a wastewater treatment system from which 75% of treated wastewater can be recycled to turn the park into a hub of renewable energy.

With outstanding advantages of location, infrastructure and incentives, Aurora IP has become the first choice of investors when they decide to invest in Vietnam as it can please the most demanding investors. In late 2019 and early 2020, Aurora IP surpassed many other industrial parks to become the choice of a fabric manufacturing consortium of Japanese and Hong Kong investors, which registered to hire 40 ha, and many other investors with cutting-edge garment and textile technology.

Aurora IP has been constantly striving to become an investment destination with the best services and utilities and a model industrial park for the sustainable development of the garment and textile industry in particular and the manufacturing industry in Vietnam in general.
